GGS designed and delivered the Advanced Company Direction Programme on behalf of the Institute of Directors Nigeria (IoDN) at Hilton London Metropole Hotel in Edgware Road, London on 28 and 30 September 2016. This executive-level training programme was attended by 25 Chairmen and CEOs of leading multinational businesses from Nigeria who had flown in specially. In addition, members of the IoDN team were in attendance including Samuel Yemi Akeju, President/Chairman of the Governing Council of the Institute.
The 2-day course was presented jointly by Dr Chris Pierce (Lead Facilitator and CEO of GGS), Professsor Paul Moxey (Visiting Professor in Corporate Governance at London South Bank University) and Michael Parker CBE (Senior Partner for Parkers, Chartered Certified Accountants).
The programme was composed of the following four modules:
- Board Leadership and Governance
- Finance and Business Risk
- Current Trends in Governance
- The Board and Strategy
