Intel CEO resigns over non-disclosure

Posted on

Brian Krzanich, the CEO of Intel, has resigned after he failed to disclose an affair with an employee. The company organised an internal investigation conducted by the internal and external counsel who confirmed that a violation of the non-fraternisation code had occurred. Intel’s policy prohibits affairs between managers and anyone that reports to them directly or indirectly.
The company has started its search for a permanent replacement and the CFO has taken over as interim CEO.
