Institute of Ethics Survey on Ethics at Work in Europe

The UK Institute of Business Ethics (IBE) have published their survey findings on Ethics at Work in Europe.
The IBE find that:

• Nearly one in three employees are aware of misconduct at work
• The majority of employees say their organisation acts with honesty (78% overall) Germany is the lowest at 69% and Ireland is the highest at 88%)
• Employees are more likely to speak out about misconduct than in the past
• Attitudes of managers to petty fiddling have become more tolerant over time
• Less than a quarter of employees are incentivised to behave ethically.
