As part of its work in promoting sustainable private sector investment in developing countries, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) executes a major program of private sector advisory services projects to developing countries. The East Africa Corporate Governance Program (EAfCGP), in collaboration with the Institute of Directors Kenya (IOD Kenya), is helping build the capacity of corporate governance trainers, with a specific focus on the Board’s Roles and Responsibilities and Strategic Leadership. EAfCGP and IOD Kenya organised a 3 day Training-of-Trainers (TOT) course in Nairobi on 3-5 August 2016 to introduce the IFC’s Board Leadership Toolkit.
The TOT was designed and delivered by Dr Chris Pierce and Brenda Bowman.
