IFC’s Ghana Corporate Governance Program is working in partnership with the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) to review the Governance curricula of its existing graduate Governance course and introduce content for proposed short Governance certificate courses. Dr Chris Pierce, as a senior IFC consultant, has been working on this assignment for the last few months to develop modern educational modules to address emerging issues on corporate governance, based on IFC Corporate Governance Methodology. He visited Accra for a second time recently, delivering a 3-day “Training of Trainers” workshop on 30 May – 1 June 2016, providing capacity building support to the designated trainers of UGBS in adopting the revised modules. He also met with IFC staff and the Dean of the University.
