Directors’ Club, the professional membership organisation in India providing a unique accredited certification program for training aspiring Directors, held its 8th event of its Accredited Certification Program at the Sofitel Hotel in Mumbai for the 3 days 9 to 11 September 2016. The event was organised by Hunt Partners in association with Board Evaluation Limited (UK) and SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, and was attended by professionals who have recently been appointed to a board or are considering taking board positions. Dr Chris Pierce, CEO of Global Governance Services Ltd, presented sessions on the Role of the Independent Director and the Role of the Boards, and facilitated role play sessions on Board Dynamics. Co-presenters on the program included Mr O P Bhatt, Prof. Raghu Iyer, Prof. Prem Chandrani, Mr Nawshir Mirza and Mr Barnik Maitra.
