This week the US Department of Justice in San Francisco have charged Mike Lynch with 14 counts of conspiracy and fraud over the $11 billion sale of Autonomy to Hewlett Packard in 2011.
In addition, the DoJ is requesting the forfeiture of $815 million gains that Lynch made from the sale. The indictment lists 28 instances when Lynch is alleged to have made false statements. The former CFO of Autonomy was convicted of similar charges earlier in the year.
